Description
The specimen is a mass of nodular fat, externally unremarkable as a lipoma, but the cut surface
shows a discrete nodule of white tissue raising suspicion that this is malignant; the malignancy
was confirmed histologically and, in fact, the specimen was a recurrent liposarcoma.
